Viruton® Pulver
Powder for cleaning and disinfecting tools, endoscopes, incubators and other surfaces of medical devices
Application: Viruton® Pulver is a modern generation preparation for cleaning and high-level disinfection of invasive and non-invasive medical devices. It is recommended for surgical and dental instruments and all kinds of endoscopes, surgical probes, ventilator tubes and other anesthetic equipment. It can also be used to disinfect the surfaces of medical equipment, such as incubators. It is recommended for manual disinfection, in ultrasonic cleaners, automatic machines and in endoscope washers.
Directions for use:
According to the dosing table, measure the appropriate amount of water at a temperature of 25-30 ° C, then use the attached measuring cup to add the correct amount of powder, mix the solution, cover and leave it to activate for 15 minutes. After this time mix the solution again. The use of warm water (temperature 35 ° C) will speed up the dissolution of the powder. Small residues on the bottom guarantee the stability of the solution over time.
Cleaning and disinfection of instruments and endoscopes: immerse instruments thoroughly, ensuring that they are completely filled
with a solution of all elements and channels of medical equipment. After the specified operating time (10 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the selected concentration), the instruments are removed from the solution and rinsed with drinking water, sterile distilled water or demineralized water. Change the solution daily. The preparation is not intended for copper and brass tools, nor for mechanically damaged chrome and nickel-plated tools.
Cleaning and disinfection the surface (depending on the selected concentration): spray the surfaces of medical equipment with a 1% solution or wipe with a cloth and leave to act for 10 minutes. The product leaves a white residue on the disinfected surface, therefore it is recommended to wipe the residue with a disposable towel after disinfection.
Cleaning and disinfection of incubators: detailed instructions for disinfecting incubators are available. Additional remarks: Protect against moisture. Tightly close the container after use. Do not immerse wet tools in powder. Do not use on disposable instruments. Follow the instructions of the tool and equipment manufacturer. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged. Store below 25 ° C. Use test strips to check the activity of the solution over time.
