After washing, microfiber dries best naturally, in the open air or in a well-ventilated room. A tumble dryer is acceptable only on a low heat setting—hot air can damage the fibers. Storing them in a dry, clean place further protects the cloths from dust and loss of properties.
If the microfiber becomes stiff or less absorbent, you can refresh it in a simple, eco-friendly way—wash it in hot water with baking soda and white vinegar, without using detergents. Thanks to these steps, microfiber cloths will remain soft and ready for use for a long time.
