Hand disinfection — essential in healthcare facilities

In healthcare environments, hand disinfection is a fundamental element of maintaining sanitary safety. MEDISEPT hand disinfectants are designed for use by visitors, patients and healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, residents, paramedics and other medical staff in direct contact with patients. These preparations are formulated in accordance with WHO hand hygiene guidelines, ensuring their proven effectiveness. Additionally, our product line includes a hand care cream that moisturises and regenerates the skin, minimising the negative effects of frequent use of disinfectants. Regular use of MEDISEPT products supports the maintenance of high hygiene standards in healthcare institutions.

Disinfection of instruments and non-invasive medical equipment

Surgical instruments and reusable devices that come into contact with soft tissues, bone tissue, body cavities, mucous membranes, damaged skin or wounds must undergo cleaning, disinfection and subsequent sterilisation before reuse. Non-invasive equipment that does not breach tissue integrity or come into contact with sterile areas, mucous membranes, wounds or damaged skin, as well as sterile materials, instruments or dressings, must also be cleaned and disinfected before reuse (according to the procedure for invasive tools), though sterilisation is not required. From a functional perspective, all instruments used in treatment rooms and operating theatres should be made of materials that allow for these hygiene procedures to be safely performed.

The processing of personal data does not involve automated decision-making or profiling. Each data subject has the right to: (i) access their data and rectify it, (ii) request its erasure, (iii) request restriction of processing, (iv) request data portability.
