CSR
Responsible business is a long-term strategy based on dialogue with society and the pursuit of solutions that benefit both the company and the wider community.
MEDISEPT operates in line with the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Our CSR activities are grouped into the following areas:
Ecology & Environmental Protection
With a large team, we place strong emphasis on waste segregation. Dedicated, clearly marked containers are available throughout all our facilities, and employees are actively engaged in this initiative. Given our profile and significant use of cardboard packaging, we prioritise reusing boxes to reduce the demand for new materials.
At Medisept, we place great importance on protecting the environment. Given the size of our team, we consistently implement a waste segregation policy. Our offices and production facilities are equipped with clearly marked containers, which employees use on a daily basis. Due to the nature of our operations and our extensive use of packaging, we prioritise reuse, thereby reducing the need to purchase new materials. In the area of electronic waste management, we follow a responsible policy – devices are handed over to certified recycling centres, while some are given a “second life” through internal initiatives, where equipment is resold and the proceeds donated to charitable causes. For these actions, we were awarded the Responsible Business Certificate by the GreenGo organisation.
Social Engagement
For many years, we have actively supported voluntary blood donation, regularly taking part in campaigns organised by the Lublin Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross (PCK) and the Voluntary Blood Donors Club named after Skublewski in Lublin. In cooperation with the Supreme Chamber of Nurses and Midwives, we implemented the educational campaign "Disinfection – Yes, But Done Right", promoting responsible hygiene habits in society. During the pandemic, we also launched a series of educational workshops for preschool children, teaching the principles of cleanliness and hygiene as part of the "Clean Five" project.Supporting the Local Community
We actively support social, educational, and environmental initiatives that strengthen our local community. We are involved in programmes developing the competencies of young people, such as “Open Minds”, “Enterprising Youth”, and “Enterprising Kids”, as well as the international X-Culture programme, run in cooperation with Lublin City Hall. We also contribute to cultural development through cooperation with the Youth Cultural Centre. In the 2023/2024 season we were a sponsor of the Teatr Stary. We promote physical activity among young people by supporting football and badminton clubs, and we provide ongoing sponsorship for the MAYDAY Team cycling group. In the field of ecology, we co-create the Green Economic Zone initiative, aimed at increasing green areas in the Euro-Park Mielec Zone (Lublin subzone), in cooperation with Lublin City Hall and students from local universities.
We are committed to supporting those most in need
Od pierwszych dni wojny w Ukrainie aktywnie włączyliśmy się w działania pomocowe, dostarczając niezbędne produkty do szpitali m.in. we Lwowie, Kijowie, Iwanofrankowsku i Charkowie. Organizowaliśmy dostawy za pośrednictwem punktów przeładunkowych przy granicy RP, współpracując z Fundacją Razem z Ukrainą, Ośrodkiem Kształcenia Podyplomowego Pielęgniarek w Rzeszowie oraz Pogotowiem Ratunkowym w Zamościu. Już w pierwszych dniach konfliktu przekazaliśmy środki higieniczne i dezynfekujące do punktów recepcyjnych, wspierając również Lubelski Społeczny Komitet Pomocy Ukrainie (Fundacja Homo Faber) oraz Centrum Pomocy Humanitarnej PTAK, zapewniając wolontariuszom niezbędne wyposażenie. Łącznie dostarczyliśmy kilkanaście palet środków do dezynfekcji rąk, powierzchni i narzędzi chirurgicznych oraz innych produktów. Za nasze zaangażowanie zostaliśmy uhonorowani tytułem Dobroczyńcy, przyznanym przez Fundację Razem z Ukrainą oraz Lubelski Klub Biznesu, w uznaniu za pomoc w zabezpieczeniu potrzeb medycznych szpitali oraz wsparcie Pracowników Wołyńskiej Izby Przemysłowo-Handlowej w Łucku.
Education & Stakeholder Engagement
The nature of our industry requires the provision of training on the use of disinfectants and hygiene principles in specific environments. Our sales representatives actively support clients both with the practical aspects of hygiene maintenance and with theoretical knowledge, by organising sector-specific training. We provide both product-focused and thematic training for business partners and medical staff in healthcare facilities. In addition, we publish informational materials and procedures for high-sanitary-risk environments, actively participate in trade fairs, and share educational resources to ensure safe and effective use of our products.
