CSR
Responsible business is a strategic, long-term approach based on the principles of social dialogue and the search for solutions that benefit both the company and its entire environment.
Medisept operates in accordance with the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Our CSR activities can be divided into the following thematic areas:
Ecology and environmental protection
Given the number of employees, we pay close attention to waste sorting. To this end, special waste bins have been purchased and properly labeled. Everyone is eager to join the initiative and sort waste appropriately. Given the nature of our business and the high consumption of cardboard packaging, we gladly reuse packaging to avoid unnecessarily using new boxes.
At Medisept, we place great importance on environmental protection. Given the size of our team, we consistently implement a waste sorting policy. Our offices and production facilities are equipped with labeled bins that employees use daily.Given the nature of our business and the high volume of packaging used, we prioritize reuse—thereby reducing the need to purchase new materials.We follow a conscious policy regarding the management of used electronic equipment—we send devices to certified recycling centers. Some of them are given a “second life” through internal initiatives where the equipment was resold, and the proceeds were donated to charity.For our efforts, we received the Responsible Entrepreneur Certificate awarded by the GreenGo organization.
Social Engagement
For years, we have actively supported voluntary blood donation, regularly participating in campaigns organized by the Lublin Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross and the Skublewski Blood Donor Club in Lublin. As part of our collaboration with the Supreme Chamber of Nurses and Midwives, we carried out the educational campaign “Disinfection, Yes, but Not Just Anyhow ,” promoting responsible hygiene habits in society. During the pandemic, we also launched a series of educational workshops for preschoolers, teaching them the principles of cleanliness and hygiene as part ofthe“Clean Five” project .Supporting the local community
We actively support social, educational, and environmental initiatives that strengthen our local community. We are involved in projects that develop the skills of young people, such as “Open Minds ,” “Entrepreneurial Youth ,” and “Entrepreneurial Kids ,” as well as the international X-Culture program, implemented in cooperation with the City of Lublin. We support cultural development—we collaborate with the Youth Cultural Center, and during the 2023/2024 season, we sponsored the Stary Theater . We promote physical activity among young people in soccer and badminton clubs, and we provide ongoing support to the MAYDAY Team cycling group. In the area of ecology, we are co-creating the “Green Economic Zone” initiative, which aims to green the areas of the Euro-Park Mielec Zone (Lublin subzone) in cooperation with the City Hall and students from Lublin’s universities.
We are happy to help those who need it most
Od pierwszych dni wojny w Ukrainie aktywnie włączyliśmy się w działania pomocowe, dostarczając niezbędne produkty do szpitali m.in. we Lwowie, Kijowie, Iwanofrankowsku i Charkowie. Organizowaliśmy dostawy za pośrednictwem punktów przeładunkowych przy granicy RP, współpracując z Fundacją Razem z Ukrainą, Ośrodkiem Kształcenia Podyplomowego Pielęgniarek w Rzeszowie oraz Pogotowiem Ratunkowym w Zamościu. Już w pierwszych dniach konfliktu przekazaliśmy środki higieniczne i dezynfekujące do punktów recepcyjnych, wspierając również Lubelski Społeczny Komitet Pomocy Ukrainie (Fundacja Homo Faber) oraz Centrum Pomocy Humanitarnej PTAK, zapewniając wolontariuszom niezbędne wyposażenie. Łącznie dostarczyliśmy kilkanaście palet środków do dezynfekcji rąk, powierzchni i narzędzi chirurgicznych oraz innych produktów. Za nasze zaangażowanie zostaliśmy uhonorowani tytułem Dobroczyńcy, przyznanym przez Fundację Razem z Ukrainą oraz Lubelski Klub Biznesu, w uznaniu za pomoc w zabezpieczeniu potrzeb medycznych szpitali oraz wsparcie Pracowników Wołyńskiej Izby Przemysłowo-Handlowej w Łucku.
Education and support for stakeholders
The specific nature of our industry requires training on the use of products and hygiene rulesregarding specific areas. Our sales representatives are happy to support their clients both in practical hygiene maintenance and in theoretical aspects by organizing industry-specific training sessions. We organize product and thematic training sessions for our business partners and for medical staff at healthcare facilities. We publish informational materials and procedures for use in high-hygiene environments, and we participate in industry trade shows. We are also happy to provide educational materials that enable our customers to use our products safely and correctly.
